MUSIC
Learning to play a musical instrument has so many benefits it is hard to list them all - that is why all children in Key Stage 2 have the opportunity to play a range of musical instruments each year. In LKS2, children spend 2 years learning: Trumpets, Recorders and Ukuleles. In UKS2, we introduce Keyboards, Guitars and Djembe Drums and children are taught to play different instruments alongside each other. Our curriculum design provides exposure - helping children to uncover hidden talents and develop preferences. For those who enjoy the challenges of learning new instruments, we offer small group and 1:1 tuition in: Clarineo, Cello, Violin and Flute.
